Unity or Bust
Hi again just a little update i am getting batter but not 100% yet.
I do have a little dilemma that i was wondering if you might be of some assistance my wife and family have recently moved to Winnipeg and with all the different churches to chose from we are finding it hard to pick one out to see if we would like it we have decided that we would like to attend a small to medium size church something that we could grow with as i love to sing and my daughter as well we make a pretty good team i do not like the spot light but i do love the Lord and that is why i do sing on occasion i feel like i am lost Right now with out a church family we haven't been to church for 2 months i never thought that one could fall away so easily the temptation to stay home is to easy i need to connect with God again and i need your help.
I do see how the devil is trying to over come the church how the government is being forced to hear the cries of the unrighteous these are turbulent times around the globe and what better way to occupy the people than with strife in our own back yards just look at our government we have the french block Quebec Que trying to separate from our country and the power struggle over who will govern our land my brother is a truck driver and he as told me that when he is in Montreal if you do not speak in french that they will not help you and i have herd this from others in the past and we say that we are not predigest in any way and yet we have ethnic groups that move into area's and only mingle with each other what is this great country turning into that we are segregating our self's in to groups is this what God intended for a free nation i don't think so and yet we still allow it, if we are truly men of God we should be making a difference and trying to win other to Christ and live like God intended Until next time Freedom Friday.

What it takes to focuse on God
what is it that makes you feel like you are on the top of the world like a new car or that new job,why is it that we are only satisfied for only a short period of time we think that we have true happiness only to find out that the luster wears of and we find our selves longing for something else i know that it might sound st rang to you but i to am not a stranger to this anomaly recently we had lost heat in our shop and for two days over the worst time in Manitoba history the temps were hovering around -46 and with the wind chill making it feel like -50 i was working under a truck and you could see your breath i thought that this isn't so bad but now i have gotten sick and the only thing that i want is to be better i haven't been able to sleep due to coughing all night long i might be getting 3to 4 hrs sleep a night and every time i cough my brain hurts and through all this i have tried 3 different kinds of medicine. so i ask you why is it that we try to fill our lives with distractions only to find that we are only running from God being sick has opened my eyes again and i hope that you you find your self in a similar situation if you only get to see how much we really need to be with Christ and follow in his footsteps. I haven't gotten over the flew yet but i did get my voice back i tried to go to work today but i could only work for 3 hr i got so many people telling me that i really didn't look well i hope that you will pray for me and i hope that you have had a chance to examine your own heart until next Freedom Fridays.

Freedom
What is Freedom
well when i look back in history i can see that when the world was in the begging stages that we as a whole had freedom we would live our day's foraging for food planting food for our lively hoods life was simpler the instinct to fight and protect family came naturally then one parson decided that he would have control over his country men. the strongest one in battle would become King and rule, is that when we became slaves was it out of fear or out of necessity for survival once under the rule of a king you no longer have freedom you have a dictator ship we all think that we are free when you buy a home do you really own it not really for if you do not pay taxes they sell your land and you get nothing for it
In this day and age when technology is at it's peek and we have so much to be thankful for and yet we take it all for granted we are all still slaves even in this day and age if you don't work you don't get paid if you do something wrong you get fired we always hear about other ethnic groups complaining that they were so oppressed and want compensation for what happened in the past hundreds of years ago i thing that we need to live in the now and try to make life better that it is for our people just a thought we have the right to be free it's up to us as individuals to stand together for one cause united under God then and only then will the powers that be take notice that if it wasn't for the people that they would not be in the position that they have now, until next time freedom Fridays

Hockey anger
I sometimes wonder why tempers flair when you are in the middle of a game
well maybe i should start at the beginning. I play Friday night hockey with a church group that started as a ministry out reach and for church members to get to gather and play Canada's greatest game Hockey, i have been playing for 9 years now and we stop at half time for a word of wisdom after all not all the players are followers of Christ and that is the ultimate goal.
well Friday night was our regular time we played our game and found out at the end that we had the opportunity to play a double header on the weekend against a norther team the first game went OK we lost and we needed to work on our lines for the second game the other team started to use slap shots and hitting a little as we tried to carry on with the game as we were still loosing as i sat on the bench and watched the goalie from the other team sweeping at the feet of one of our players he stretched forth his hand and pushed the goalie away from him one of the other players performed an axe like swing across his back well tempers rose and words were said, the coach from the other team came over and started to talk to the individual and proceeded to grab him well that just made matters worse and i cant help but feel bad for my fellow player.
so i ask you this question why do we let our feelings take over our rational thoughts why cant we have more control over our mouth's why do we speak before we think i wonder why we as a generation have so much anger in side that we let it escape in the most unprofessional way i think that we need to confess our sins to God and ask for forgiveness bottled emotions have a way of exploding when we least expect it and the verbal ones hurt more than the fisacil because the verbal scars the heart and is not seen by the human eye but the fisical every ones see and it heals in a short period of time. i hope that you think about this the next time you find your self in a similar situation until next time.Freedom Fridays
