camping

recently we went camping for the weekend we had bought a camper by the way this is the first time sleeping in one i have always tented last year we went throw a funnel cloud in a tent my wife and daughter was scared but i was sleeping quite peaceful we had a norther family with us they had gotten up and ran to the safe haven of their vehicle watching the van rock back and forth from the wind i know that i could have slept right threw it even thou it was a turmoil time i had total peace i know that God was watching over me and if he wanted to take me home that was OK i was ready to go when i read some of the story's and the horrific things they went threw i know what they must have felt i can only imagine what a non believer might have thought would they have reacted much the same as my friends running for shelter scared that they might die but i know that my friend was only watching out for his family safety being believers in Christ as i i can only pray that when my time comes that i will be bold for the faith even in times of turmoil life can be calm with faith in Christ i can do all things through Christ who straightens me i found this to be true believe and thought shall be saved, As i watched my family playing and having a good time in the new camper having food and celebrating my niece birthday i couldn't help but wonder just how short life really is compared to eternity with Christ Jesus by the way we did get rain and lots of it one night the sound woke me up and i was glad in the morning that i was not wet i think that i like this style of camping there is still about the same amount of preparation involved and you just cant take it to the bush 20 miles like a tent. until next time freedom Fridays
